One time my step dads’ dad came up to me and asked me out of nowhere what I think my best feature is, automatically I said hair and he looks at me so disappointedly, “that’s a physical feature not a feature of your personality, it’s vain” angry and feeling disrespected by being looked down upon I respond “at least I have hair” and am guided outside by my mom who lectures me about how he’s very sensitive about that and I shout “he should have thought of that” looking him straight in the eyes through the window
